Easiyo Low Fat Apricot Yogurt Base and Culture, 5-Ounce Review

This is the best yogurt starter that I've tried and I've tried a lot of them.I like it better when I use milk instead of water, even 1% milk seems to make it quite a bit richer than water.The only down side to this product is the price.I wish it weren't so expensive.But the texture and the taste can't be beat!

Place a #1 filter inside the 'v' add ground coffee and gently pour hot water (195 degree) over the grounds to moisten them; wait 30 seconds to allow the grounds to 'bloom' then pour more water over the grounds to finish the brewing cycle. Hershey's Silver Kiss Dessert Fondue Maker Review

This little fondue pot is perfect!It was so cheap that I was waiting for the other shoe to drop but I read a review of it that mentioned that it's smallness was actually a good thing because how much fondue do you usually need?I had a little fondue party with about 8 people and we had chocolate in one and cheese in another and they were perfect.They kept the fondue warm and the heat was very even from just the little tea light.A great buy. I got a few extra for gifts!

Oggi Soma Aluminum Thermal Insulated Pitcher Review

We purchased 4 carafe's for a huge meeting.When we put ice in one of them, the inside immediately shattered into a million pieces.Later that day, we experienced the same with another pitcher.They had just been received and we are not sure if it was the packaging/shipping that caused the problem or that its just a bad product.We didn't want to take any more chances, so we sent the other two carafes back for a full refund.

I do not recommend this product at all.

Part for #22 Meat Grinder 3/4" Plate Review

I've been a sausage maker (amature) for 5 years. I own 3 different grinders and at least a dozen plates. And with one miserable exception all are functional - good - plates. This plate however is exceptional. It has identification markers, an excellent finish and sharpness. After cleaning the protective coating, it was put to work and was flawless. On another note Superior Kitchen Gadgets delivered ahead of schedule in a minimum but very secure container and not only will I recommend them but have already added them to my favorites list. As to my credibility on this subject, I am a manufacturing engineer, starting as a machinist working my way up the ranks including tool and die maker. I do know a little about metal working. To those who actually manufactured this product: Well done, you have put the effort into the appropriate surfaces of the part. I hope to replace as required all of my existing plates with your work.

Hamilton Beach 80365 Custom Grind Hands-Free Coffee Grinder, Platinum Review

I too read all the reviews...I spent several hours, so let me save you the trouble.This item is sturdy, washable, compact, and grinds beans for anywhere from 4-12 cups of coffee.

I use it for both my 2 cup french press and my percolator, when my mill & brew coffee maker, which I have two carafs and 3 baskets for, is busy.We really get into coffee here - I must have 10 varieties of beans in the freezer.

It also did a fabulous job grinding hazelnuts very fine for a cookie dough where the hazelnuts were, in effect, part of the flour.

I do love that the grinder basket and top can go in the dishwasher, and the little brush that is stowed on the back is a thoughtful and utilized addition.

The only drawback would be that if you are only making 2 cups of coffee and you want a course grind, you have to let the machine think you're making 8 cups, by moving the cup setting, as this machine is intended to grind beans for a minimum of 4 cups.When I make enough coffee for my percolator, I can get an intermediate course grind with no problem.

What sold me was this: After I read all the reviews I went to my local "megamart," found the grinders, opened up the boxes of the makes I wanted to compare, and I literally took things apart and put them back together.

Like another reviewer warned, stay away from those other grinders with the tiny (you can barely see them) plastic pins that engage the start button.Once those bits of plastic break off, you're SOL.

This is a very reasonably priced maker which I've had for 6 months.I love it so much, that for much of that time I've felt just a bit guilty that I hadn't yet praised this maker on Amazon.With that done - it's time to grind some beans. :)Enjoy.

PS: It looks very pretty/handsome on the counter.

Hamilton Beach 50639R Stay or Go 10-Speed Blender, Black Review

Two words: ice bits. If the whole Hamilton Beach line uses this same blade design, I don't see how any of their blenders can handle ice. If the product didn't claim to be good for, oh, crushing ice, that might be ok. The travel cup is hard to use, and it's hard to get it off the blender and put together without making a bit of a mess until you've practiced.
