Casa Moda "S'mores" Maker Review

I am a big s'more fan. I will eat them for breakfast when we are camping. When I saw this I bought it. It works great! I have got my money's worth. It is a big hit at get togethers, too. It's easy to operate. It will burn the marshmallow like a real campfire. So if you like burnt, it works good for that. The canned fuel does not come with it. So you need to purchase that separately. And watch the size of the can. The size they recommend is the size you need. You can find it in the camping section of stores such as Target, etc. I recommed this to anyone who loves s'mores!Well worth your money!!!!!!!!

Espressione 1332-A Cafe Charme Espresso/Cappuccino Machine, Anthracite Gray Review

This Espressione machine though medium priced, is terrific. Before buying it, I researched espresso cappuccino machines in this price range, extensively. The Espressione has impressive power stats. I love European style coffee, and this machine delivers it. Suggestion: I bought it in white and it's hard to keep clean.
Wish I'd bought the graphite.

Medelco 4 Cup Universal Stainless Steel Replacement Carafe Review

This was a replacement for my glass Braun carafe. I bought it so I wouldn't need to replace a fragile glass pot in case you drop it; Which I did. I was 100% correct on this count.You could throw it at the wall and it won't break. You will want to throw it at the wall. The problem is that the pouring rim is such that it dribbles out the sides during the pour and you spill a lot of coffee making you want to throw it out or continue pouring coffee over the sink until you buy the correct manufactor's replacement.It's also not so universal as you have to force it under coffee ground basket for my Braun 4 cup model=Don't get it unless you don't mind pouring your coffee over the sink.

Paula Deen 8-Cup Stovetop Percolators Review

Looks nice however the interior pieces are very flimsy & look as though they would need replacing at least once a year. Also the filter cover doesn't do a good job of keeping the grinds in the basket. I had more grind in my coffee cup that I care to drink. The only positives are you can take it camping and great for power outages. Would not recommend this product for daily use.

LaCafetiere La Chocolatiere Chocolate Drink Maker, Cream Review

I haven't tried this with shaved chocolate yet but I usually use mix.It does a good job using Ghirardelli Chocolate Premium Hot Cocoa Mix, Double Chocolate, 16-Ounce Tins (Pack of 4) and powered milk.Good looking would grace any tray at a Ladies Tea.Unfortunately it makes 3 polite 166ml cups or one good sized mug.Also useful for making powered drinks like spiced cider.Can be used as a tea press by inserting loose tea, adding water, then inserting the plunger.Leave the plunger up to brew or give it a stroke or 2, once appropriate time has passed press slowly down on plunger to remove loose tea leaves. Nicely made porcelain; I would not recommend this for camping unless you have a butler and staff.
Make sure that the poor opening in the lid is closed when you work the plunger!(Or have the maid do it.)

The drawback is that there are plastic parts so I would be cautious about preheating in the oven.

Miracle Chopper Salsa Maker Review

I bought one of these at the State Fair, thinking I was probably getting ripped off, but I was desperate to find a decent onion chopper (as I have serious problems with tearing up when slicing them).To my amazement, I got the thing home and tried it out, and it chopped not only an onion, but tomatoes, eggs, cheese, etc, in perfect little cubes within seconds.There are several other attachments (juicer, grater, potato slicer, batter mixer) but I haven't tried them; I only care about it's chopping capabilities.The chopper itself rinses clean with hot water, so there's no need to tediously clean all the separate parts.Well worth the money spent!
